  • Snohomish River Estuary
    • This estuary between Everett and Marysville offers paddling options through several sloughs and on the Snohomish River itself.
    • Snohomish County resource page is very helpful
    • An appx. 14 mile loop can be done from the Lowell (Rotary Park) boat launch around South Ebey Island via the Snohomish River, Steamboat Slough, and Ebey Slough. A comment from a Facebook post: “The trick is to time your arrival at the confluence of Steamboat and Ebey slough with early flood. You may not get much of a push up Ebey, however, you wont have to fight the current either. If it’s been raining much, all bets are off.”
  • Black River south of Olympia
  • Wollochet Bay Estuary Park, Gig Harbor looks like an interesting place to paddle.
  • WillhiteWeb’s collection of Washington Kayak and Canoe Trips
  • Central & Eastern Washington
